Ali Baaj, MD, was named systemwide chief of spine surgery at Phoenix-based Banner Health, according to an April 4 LinkedIn post.
Dr. Baaj has worked with Banner Health since 2020 and was previously chief of spine surgery for Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, Ariz., according to his LinkedIn profile. He is also a professor at the University of Arizona in Phoenix.
Dr. Baaj specializes in complex spine surgery in adults and children. He earned his medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
