Former President George H.W. Bush broke a bone in his neck after falling in his home on Wednesday, according to KHOU.
Here are four things to note:
1. He remains hospitalized while he recovers from fractured C2 vertebrae.
2. Physicians at Maine Medical Center in Portland are treating the former president.
3. The injury did not impinge his spine nor did it result in any neurological deficits. He continues to have normal use of his limbs.
4. Former President Bush will wear a neck brace and undergo physical therapy at the hospital.
