A research team headed by Kern Singh, MD, of Chicago-based Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush won "Best Poster" at the ISASS Annual Meeting in Boca Raton, Fla.
Here are four things to know:
1. Over 570 scientific papers were presented at the meeting.
2. Dr. Singh chaired the meeting.
3. Dr. Singh's research team earned the "Best Poster Award" for their "Inpatient Pain Scores and Narcotic Utilization Based on American Society of Anesthesiologists Score after Cervical and Lumbar Spinal Fusion" project.
4. This year was the 17th annual ISASS meeting.
