Naperville, Ill.-based Edward Hospital welcomed David Peng, MD, to its staff, according to Naperville Sun.
Here are five points:
1. Dr. Peng will see patients at the hospital's Edward Neurosciences Institute, which is affiliated with Chicago-based Northwestern Medicine.
2. He specializes in interventional pain procedures to treat arthritis, cancer and musculoskeletal conditions.
3. Dr. Peng performs epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation procedures, spinal cord stimulation, kyphoplasty and more.
4. An American Society of Anesthesiologist member, Dr. Peng is also affiliated with California Society of Anesthesiologists, Michigan Society of Anesthesiologists, Connecticut Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, American Academy of Pain Medicine and American Pain Society.
5. Dr. Peng completed his pain management fellowship at Stanford (Calif.) University Hospitals and Clinics.
