Southfield, Mich.-based neurosurgeon Pradeep Setty, DO, was named a 2018 Top Doctor.

1. Dr. Setty is a neurosurgeon at Michigan Head & Spine Institute in Southfield. He is affiliated with several Michigan hospitals and serves as an assistant professor of neurosurgery at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Auburn Hills, Mich.
2. Dr. Setty specializes in minimally invasive approaches to treat brain and spine disorders. He also specializes in craniofacial reconstruction for congenital pediatric craniofacial abnormalities and travels annually on a medical mission to the Philippines, performing surgery on local children with craniofacial deformities and encephaloceles.
3. He received his medical degree from Touro University Nevada outside of Las Vegas in 2010. He underwent fellowship training in complex brain and spine tumors at MD Andersen Cancer Center in Houston and in endoscopic skull base surgery at the University of Pittsburgh.
4. He is a member of many professional organizations including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurosurgeons, American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, North American Skull Base Society and North American Spine Society.
