Plantation, Fla.-based Spine & Orthopedic Center added Anup Gangavalli, MD, to its team.
Here are four highlights:
1. Dr. Gangavalli specializes in minimally invasive and reconstructive spine surgery. He treats degenerative cervical, thoracic and lumbar disease, spinal deformity, spinal trauma and congenital spinal abnormalities.
2. After earning his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in New York City, Dr. Gangavalli completed his residency at St. Luke's University Hospital & Health Network in Bethlehem, Pa.
3. Dr. Gangavalli underwent spine surgery fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic.
4. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society and International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery.
