Todd Lanman, MD, founder of Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Lanman Spinal Neurosurgery, performed a three-level artificial cervical disc replacement procedure with Orthofix's M6-C device, according to Virtual Strategy Magazine.
Three things to know:
1. M6-C is an artificial disc replacement device that mimics the natural movement of an anatomical disc.
2. The device features a viscoelastic core that allows for compressibility.
3. The patient was suffering from three disc herniations that were pinching his spinal cord.
