Wooster, Ohio-based Bloomington Orthopedic Specialists has welcomed spine surgeon Marcus Newton, DO, to its team, This Week Community News reported Aug. 23.
Dr. Newton plans to establish a spine surgery program at Wooster Community Hospital, where Bloomington Orthopedic Specialists is based, to keep surgeries in the community and prevent patients from being referred to Cleveland or Columbus.
He has more than 30 years of experience practicing spine surgery.
Dr. Newton joins spine surgeon Elizabeth Yu, MD, and orthopedic surgeons Anne Marie Chicorelli, DO, and Joseph Borruso, MD, at Bloomington Orthopedic Specialists.
