Neurosurgeon Ched Nwagwu, MD, has joined Brain & Spine Surgeons of New York, a 17-physician group in Harrison, the Daily Voice reported Nov. 4.
Dr. Nwagwu specializes in the treatment of complex intracranial and spinal pathology, including skull base tumors, aneurysms and Chiari malformations. He also has expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal disorders and trauma.
Most recently, he practiced with Orange County Neurosurgical Associates in Laguna Hills, Calif.
John Abrahams, MD, has been president of Brain & Spine Surgeons of NY since 2015. Virany Hillard, MD, was appointed medical director earlier this year.
