Burton Elrod, MD, team physician for the Tennessee Titans, performed shoulder surgery on quarterback Jake Locker, according to a report from The Tennessean. Mr. Locker dislocated his shoulder twice during this past season, and fractured a bone during the second time, according to the report. Dr. Elrod performed a procedure to repair Mr. Locker's shoulder.
Mr. Locker could return to play before the 2013 season begins.
