On Wednesday, David Altchek, MD, is scheduled to perform arthroscopic surgery on the left knee of Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love, according to a Twin Cities report. Dr. Altchek will remove scar tissue during the procedure at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
The surgery is expected to end the player's season.
