James Andrews, MD, recently performed shoulder surgery on the Seattle Mariners top pitching prospect Danny Hultzen, according to a CBS Sports report.
Dr. Andrews performed the procedure to address a labrum issue and repair partial tears in the capsule and rotator cuff.
The team has not announced an expected return date for the left-handed pitcher.
