Physicians from Columbia (Mo.) Orthopaedic Group have teamed with the University of Missouri Orthopaedic Institute to become team physicians for the Mizzou athletic program, according to a local KRCG report.
The agreement eliminates competition between the two groups and gives the athletes a wider selection of physicians to choose from, according to the report. The contract lasts for the next decade.
