Charlotte, N.C.-based Intelligent Implant Systems received U.S. FDA 510(k) clearance for its Marauder cervical-thoracic spine system, according to a medGadget report. The Marauder system requires no torque for easier rod reduction while screws remain in place. The system is designed to require fewer implementation steps than other traditional systems.
