Mequon, Wis.-based Titan Spine is updating its spinal device warranty to freely replace any of the company's Endoskeleton interbody fusion devices if they divide or deteriorate during implantation.
Here are five things to know:
1. A The Spine Journal study found Titan Spine's Endoskeleton titanium interbody fusion devices generated no particulate debris or delamination during simulated implantation.
2. Titan Spine offered its initial warranty in September 2014.
3. The warranty enhancement provides a one-time free replacement of any eligible Titan spinal interbody fusion device if a patient requires revision surgery within the five-year warranty period.
4. The company will soon launch its next-generation nanoLOCK surface technology.
