Marietta, Ga.-based Amendia introduced its new spondylolisthesis reduction system for commercial launch.

1. The Syzygy Stabilization System is composed of titanium alloy.
2. The system features cannulated and non-cannulated screws with self-tapping "grip quick" threads for maximum cortical bone purchase.
3. The extended threads provide enhanced adjustability and control in 5 mm increments.
4. Syzygy offers up to 34 mm of reduction with +/-10 degree of cranial-caudal adjustment.
5. Hewatt M. Sims, MD, of Orthopedic Spine Center and Tift (Ga.) Regional Medical Center, has performed spine surgery with Synzgy. Dr. Sims noted the system offers "quick, precise and consistent reduction of the spondylolisthesis deformity."
