Carlsbad, Calif.-based SeaSpine is commercially launching its Vu a•POD Prime NanoMetalene System.
Here are five highlights:
1. The standalone anterior lumbar interbody device may be altered for various footprints and lordosis combinations.
2. The system is intended to quicken the healing process and enhance long-term outcomes.
3. The NanoMetalene implants feature titanium surfaces while still encompassing benefits of PEEK devices, like biocompatibility and elasticity similar to bone.
4. Invibio holds a registered trademark on PEEK-OPTIMA, but SeaSpine uses the material under license.
5. SeaSpine's portfolio consists of orthobiologics and spinal fusion devices for lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine fusions.
