Walnut Creek, Calif.-based Providence Medical Technology earned FDA clearance for its CAVUX Cervical Cage-L System and ALLY Facet Screws.

1. The CAVUX Cervical Cage-L System is composed of titanium and provides proprietary grit-blasted and acid-etched surfaces.
2. The CAVUX also features a generous space for allogenic and autogenous bone graft as well as self-drilling and self-tapping screws.
3. The ALLY Facet Screws offer temporary stabilization as an adjunct to spinal fusion.
4. Providence Medical also appointed Scott Lynch as vice president of global marketing. He is equipped with more than 22 years of medical device industry experience and 15 years of spine marketing experience. Mr. Lynch served as vice president of global marketing at CFINE, VertiFlex and Zimmer spine.
5. The company also named Michael Scott as vice president of international. He previously served at ArthroCare and Smith & Nephew.
