CONMED acquired MedShape's ExoShape ACL Fixation System.
Here are four things to note:
1. CONMED and MedShape reached a definitive agreement on July 3.
2. A PEEK system, the ExoShape ACL Fixation System provides a non-rotational deployment and interference fixation technique for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.
3. The acquired fixation system includes the ExoShape FEMORAL and TIBIAL Soft Tissue Fasteners, composed of shape memory PEEK Altera.
4. The tissue fasteners are designed to fixate soft tissue grafts in ACL reconstruction surgery.
