SpineGuard sees 16% growth, appoints new CEO: 5 key points

SpineGuard announced its fist-half global revenue growth, the appointment of Stéphane Bette as CEO and its 2018 plans.

Here are five key points:

 

1. SpineGuard posted revenue growth for the first two quarters of 2017:

2. In the first half of 2017, 4,264 DSG units were sold compared to 4,351 in the first half of 2016.

 

3. In the U.S., SpineGuard posted a revenue growth of 19 percent.

 

4. The company also promoted Mr. Bette to CEO. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the spinal industry to the CEO position. He will step into this role in succession of Pierre Jérôme, who continues to serve as a Board Director of the company.

 

5. In order to reach breakeven by the end of 2018, SpineGuard has plans to:

• Sign new industry partnership to expand commercial application of its DSG technology.

• Grow its worldwide sales with a focus on the U.S. market, which currently accounts for close to 80 percent of revenues.

• Implement profitability plan to right size the organization, capitalize on strengths and leverage the DSG platform.
