InVivo Therapeutics named Richard Toselli, MD, its chief medical officer on July 5.

1. Dr. Toselli will oversee InVivo's clinical and regulatory strategy.
2. He previously served as CMO for Cochlear Limited, heading global clinical, regulatory and medical affairs teams. He has also held roles at Sanofi, Covidien Surgical and DePuy Synthes.
3. Dr. Toselli is a neurosurgeon specializing in the spine.
4. He previously served as the director of the spine center and associate chief of staff at Chapel Hill-based University of North Carolina.
