K2M acquires expandable spine implants product portfolio: 5 key points

K2M acquired the exclusive license to an expandable spine implants product portfolio, including 17 interbody technology patents.

Here are five key points:

 

1. The expandable spine implants products will enhance K2M's interbody portfolio.

 

2. K2M plans to integrate its 3D printing technology, Lamellar 3D Titanium Technology, into new products developed with the expandable interbody technology.

 

3. K2M received 510(k) clearances for the MOJAVE PL 3D Expandable Interbody System featuring the Lamellar 3D Titanium Technology and introduced the SAHARA AL Expandable Stabilization System, a lordotic expandable interbody device with integrated screw fixation.

 

4. The Company's 3D-printed portfolio currently extends across three product families and provides differentiated solutions to help achieve spinal balance in minimally invasive and degenerative spine procedures.

 

5. K2M is focused on building a comprehensive portfolio of 3D printed solutions to address the full range of spinal pathologies.
