Stryker nominated Sheri McCoy and Rajeev Suri to serve on the company’s board of directors, according to Zenopa.
Here are five things to know:
1. Ms. McCoy currently serves as CEO of Avon Products. She previously worked for Johnson & Johnson for more than 30 years.
2. Mr. Suri is the president and CEO of Nokia. Under his leadership, the company has experienced significatant transformation through portfolio adjustments. He is also responsible for the company’s acquisition of Alcatel-Lucent.
3. Stryker’s board of directors will vote to induct Ms. McCoy and Mr. Suri May 2.
4. If elected, Ms. McCoy and Mr. Suri would bring Stryker’s board of directors to 10 active members.
5. Stryker CEO Kevin Lobo told Zenopa, “They will bring new perspectives and complementary skills, in addition to rich experiences leading larger organizations. They also both share a passion for healthcare and helping Stryker achieve its mission.”
