2. Medtronic also offers a two-week healthy pregnancy program that offers birth mothers an additional two weeks of paid time off. In total, birth mothers can receive up to 18 weeks of paid leave.
3. Previously, Medtronic offered employees five weeks to seven weeks of paid leave for birth parents, one week for non-birth parents and four weeks of compassionate leave.
4. Medtronic increased its infertility benefit from $15,000 to $25,000. The company is commended for recommending employees to centers of excellence facilities.
5. The company also gives employees adoption or surrogacy fee reimbursement up to $5,000 per child or surrogate with a limit of $10,000 per year.
