VerteCore Technologies to participate in TMCx Accelerator Cohort Program: 3 insights

VerteCore Technologies was selected to participate in the TMCx 2018 Medical Device Accelerator Program at the Texas Medical Center in Houston.

Here are three things to know:

1. Medical device startups participating in the program network and build relationships across the 61 institutions comprising the Texas Medical Center. The accelerator program culminates with TMCx Demo Day, where participants pitch to investors, experts and industry leaders.

2. VerteCore Technologies is an orthopedic medical device company led by Paul Leake. Mr. Leake is a member of the U.S. Army National Guard and serves with multiple Servicemen support and readjustment groups.

3. The VerteCore Lift is a Class 1, FDA-cleared mobile spinal decompression unit designed to relieve lower back pain caused by bulging discs, herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, pinched nerves, sciatica, sacroiliac joint dysfunction and spinal lumbar stenosis.
