Globus Medical added two new systems to its trauma portfolio.
The Anthem Ankle Fracture System comes in seven plating options for various ankle fracture treatments. The system is designed to minimize soft tissue irritation from implant prominence. Globus Medical included contoured plates and extensive screw options with the system.
Globus Medical also launched the Anthem Proximal Humerus Fracture System that is designed to treat various shoulder fractures while streamlining workflow. The polyaxial screw was developed to give surgeons more accuracy when targeting dense calcar bone.
The Anthem Fracture System is designed to treat fractures, osteotomies, arthrodesis and reconstruction of bones for adult patients. Globus Medical plans to feature its Anthem Ankle Fracture system at the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society meeting, July 11 to July 14 in Boston.
