Nexxt Spine purchased the industrial building housing its Noblesville, Ind., headquarters to double the size of its operation, the Indianapolis Business Journal reports.
What you should know:
1. The space allows Nexxt Spine to double its manufacturing and office space to keep up with demand. Nexxt will install six laser-beam printers in the space, which will help expand production around the company's Nexxt Matrix product line. Additionally, Nexxt will create a dedicated test lab and expand the size of its cleanroom.
2. Nexxt currently has 53 workers and plans to hire 25 more workers over the next 18 months to staff the additional space.
3. Nexxt had leased a portion of the building for seven years. It now owns the entire building.
4. Nexxt will start renovations next year, with the goal of being operational by December 2020.
