The FDA granted Additive Implants clearance Feb. 20 for its SureMAX-X cervical spacer, according to Business Insider.

1. The 3D-printed titanium spacer is Additive Implants' second product to reach commercialization.

2. The SureMAX-X cervical spacer is designed to optimize fusion and resist rotational forces throughout the healing process.

3. The implant features a rough porous surface intended to effectively engage bone on the vertebral endplates.
