Consulting firm OrthoSpine Partners is collaborating with Swift Response to provide first responders with the protection they need while on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Swift Response made a monetary donation and contributed an "ample supply" of its product Flex Tape, which will go toward developing the Intubation Box, a temporary device that acts as a protective shield between medical staff and the patient.
OrthoSpine Partners is working with physicians to help produce the devices and share that information with hospitals and health systems.
"Flex Tape is the ideal sealant for the Intubation Box," said Mike Adams, chief commercial officer for OrthoSpine Partners. "Their product, along with their generous monetary sponsorship, will help us save lives."
