Spinal implant manufacturer Zavation Medical Products launched its Expandable Anterior Lumbar Plate and Expandable Lateral Lumbar Plate on July 28.
Three things to know:
1. Both systems are supplemental fixation devices designed for the lumbar spine.
2. The implants feature a low-profile design that provide stability and facilitate expansion and locking at the required length.
3. The devices are part of the company's Z-Span portfolio, which aims to provide immobilization and stabilization as an adjunct to spinal fusion in skeletally mature patients.
