NuVasive on Nov. 18 launched Cohere XLIF, a porous PEEK interbody intended for extreme lateral interbody fusion and X360 surgeries.
The implant is part of the company's Advanced Materials Science, a portfolio designed for bone in-growth while maintaining the imaging and mechanical properties favored in PEEK devices.
Additionally, NuVasive has introduced its Cohere XLIF AMS plate, a low-profile anti-migration plate that allows for up to two points of fixation.
Clinical studies have demonstrated a positive cellular response rate, osseointegration, durability and stiffness in Cohere XLIF, according to the company.
