A study by Inspired Spine shows effectiveness in treating lumbar spinal stenosis through the Trans-Kambin Oblique Lateral Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion without laminectomy, according to a Dec. 22 news release.

Lumbar spinal stenosis is a common indication for spinal surgery with decompression done with an invasive surgery, the release said. However, the study found the Trans-Kambin Oliff can safely relieve symptoms effectively.

The minimally invasive procedure can be done in as little as 40 minutes and has less recovery time, the release said. So far, spine surgeons have done more than 1,500 Ollif procedures.
