Ronald White, MD, received Sarasota (Fla.) Memorial Hospital's 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding service to the hospital and community on Oct. 22, reports Sarasota Magazine.
Three things to know:
1. Dr. White is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstructive surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the knee.
2. He was elected into the fellowship of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and American College of Surgeons and is an active fellow of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
3. Dr. White was the Otto E. Aufranc Fellow in reconstructive orthopedic surgery of the combined teaching programs at Boston-based Harvard University, Medford, Mass.-based Tufts University, and Amherst-based University of Massachusetts.
