Jennifer Bruggers, MD, and Gary Stewart, MD, of Atlanta-based Resurgens Orthopaedics have been elected members of the American Orthopaedic Association.
Four things to know:
1. Less than 10 percent of practicing orthopedic surgeons have achieved AOA membership, according to Resurgens.
2. Dr. Bruggers is chief of orthopedic trauma at Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center.
3. Dr. Stewart is chief of the division of foot and ankle at WAMC.
4. Resurgens has more than 100 orthopedic physicians and 24 offices throughout Atlanta.
