As robots become increasingly popular in orthopedics, two companies have developed robots that can be operated fully remotely:
1. Stryker debuted the industry's first fully autonomous guidance system, which includes optical tracking, a state-of-the-art camera, surgical planning and guidance capabilities.
2. Monogram Orthopedics' Monogram mBos robot was used by surgeons to complete a procedure in real-time from 1,700 miles away.
