Think Surgical earned FDA 510(k) clearance for its Tmini 1.1 software, the medtech company said July 23.

The Tmini 1.1 system software adds new capabilities to the Tmini robot, which is used for total knee replacements, according to a news release. It includes a new workflow for surgical planning, and adjustments can be wirelessly transmitted to the robot.

This is the second FDA clearance for the Tmini system in less than 15 months, president and CEO Stuart Simpson said in the release.
