Vertebral Technologies Interbody Fusion Device Receives Canadian Clearance

Spinal Tech

Vertebral Technologies' InterFuse T implant is now available for surgical use in Canada. The device is designed for transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion with a larger footprint than most devices allow, according to the release. The implant can be used for minimally invasive procedures or mini-open techniques.

Minneapolis-based Vertebral Technologies received 510(k) FDA approval for the device in 2008. The company develops and commercializes less-invasive spinal devices.
