Aesculap Implant Systems has announced the launch of its S4 Minimally Invasive Solutions Cannulated Pedicle Screw Spine Fusion System.
The system is for use in the thoracolumbar spine for minimally invasive spine fusion surgery.
Aesculap said features of the system include a dilator mechanism that, when combined with the company's Spyder Minimally Invasive Retractor System, can provide spine surgeons with a cannulated screw option for those who want to use a guided screw technique in a mini-open incision approach.
