The OrthoTec Conference and Exhibition in Warsaw, Ind., this June will feature two training sessions for orthopedic device manufacturers to learn better processes for risk management and materials selection. The first workshop, "Application of Risk Management Throughout the Product Lifecycle," is a three-hour session that covers tools and real-life examples of proper device risk management. The second workshop, "Establishing a Robust Materials Selection Process," will discuss both tactical and strategic perspectives for selecting materials, as well as design and regulatory considerations.
