The Spectrum Health Center for Joint Replacement program at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI is the first Michigan hospital to offer MAKOplasty, a procedure for patients suffering from osteoarthritis of the knee, according to a news release from the organization.
MAKOplasty is a minimally invasive procedure that resurfaces only the damaged portion of the knee and allows for patient-specific alignment for implants.
