Adam Keilen, an inventor and medical device entrepreneur, and the Keystone Solutions Group have joined to form a new company, Keystone Surgical Products, which will manufacture and sell interments and accessories for the orthopedic implant industry from their Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids, Mich. locations, according to a Keystone Solutions Group news release.
Keystone Surgical has initially launched a device to aid surgeons during implant replacement joints as well as a tape used along with x-rays to better determine implant size and alignment.
Mr. Keilien and Keystone Solutions Group have collaborated in the past and have already hired half of their 50-person planned sales force.
