Medtronic's SureScan MRI-Compatible Spinal Cord Stimulator Implanted in US Patient

The FDA approved Medtronic's SureScan spinal cord stimulator in March, and the device was recently implanted in the first patient in the U.S., according to American News Report. The SureScan stimulator is compatible with magnetic resonance imaging; it is approved to treat chronic back and leg pain.
