Arthrex's $85 million patent infringement loss to Smith & Nephew has been rejected by the U.S. Supreme Court, who has declined to hear Arthrex's appeal, according to a Mass Device report. The case revolves around a surgical anchor patent. Earlier this year, an appeals court overturned a lower court ruling and sent the case to be reconsidered. Arthrex appealed to the Supreme Court in September.
