Spinal Tech

ArthroCare's sports medicine division launched its complete Ambient ArthroWand Collection, a portfolio of radiofrequency devices designed to provide orthopedic surgeons with real-time temperature monitoring of circulating fluid during arthroscopy, according to a company news release.

The collection includes the Ambient Super MultiVac 50, the Ambient Super TurboVac 90, the Ambient CoVac 50 and the Ambient CoVac 70. The collection allows physicians to see the temperature of circulating fluid in real-time. The Quantum 2 Controller system allows surgeons to view temperature measurements of the saline fluid in the shoulder and knee.

The wands include an adjustable alarm allowing physicians to set the alarm at an appropriate temperature.
