Orthopedic trauma surgeons Brent Norris, MD, and Paul Stafford, MD, were featured in a NewsOK article discussing their patents and innovations for repairing bone fractures and helping patients recover.

The Norris Surgical fracture plate is designed for bone fractures to improve patient outcomes, reduce pain, lower rehabilitation time, lower recovery time and reduce readmission rates, according to the report. Now, the surgeons are working on gaining regulatory clearance and bringing their device to the market. The next steps include:

• Outsourcing manufacturing
• Engaging with a distributor
