Novation recognized MiMedx with the Novation Innovative Technology award for 2015.
Here are five key notes:
1. MiMedx also entered into a national agreement with Novation, which has more than 100,000 members.
2. The contract between MiMedx and Novation will go into effect on June 1.
3. More than 200 people who serve on the Novation council or tax force participating in a recent expo voted for MiMedx to receive the Innovative Technology award.
4. The contract with Novation will cover MiMedx's EpiFix and AmnioFix allografts.
5. The contract will increase the patient base who has access to the MiMedx technology.
"This new designation will identify MiMedx as an award Innovative Technology product within Novation's online contract catalog. This heightened visibility will encourage further consideration by members accessing the agreement," said Parker H. Petit, MiMedx Chairman and CEO.
