Blue Belt Technologies announced commercial support for Smith & Nephew's ZUK unicompartmental knee implant.

Here are five notes:

 

1. The ZUK is a uni knee replacement device introduced globally in 2004.

 

2. Blue Belt's Navio system supports the ZUK implant.

 

3. According to Eric Timko, president and CEO of Blue Belt, the Navio system provides ZUK users with a robotics-assisted option.

 

4. The Navio system is designed for partial knee replacement procedures. It features CT-free navigation and handheld robotics.

 

5. The Navio system's open implant software supports eight different knee systems.
