Medtech, a Montpellier, France-based robotics device company, sold two ROSA robotic surgery systems in the United States. Children's Hospital of Atlanta and Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora purchased the systems.
Children's Hospital of Atlanta serves about 2,500 patients in neurology and neurosurgery annually. Children's Hospital Colorado is a private pediatric hospital, known for its treatment of epilepsy. Both are ranked among the 10 best pediatric hospitals for quality in America, based on the U.S. News & World Report list.
"These sales to renowned American pediatric establishments, including the largest center in the country, show, once again, the interest and benefits of our surgical robots to the world's leading market for medical devices," said Bertin Nahum, CEO and founder, Medtech.
