EOS Imaging will display its 2- and 3D-imaging technology EOS Solution at the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons Annual Meeting in Dallas, Nov. 1-4.
Here are three things to know:
1. The system aims to provide full body, 2D and 3D imaging and patient-specific data sets for surgical planning.
2. Designed to anticipate and resolve concerns preoperative, EOS solution technology scans images of the patient while standing and/or sitting to attain a more personalized approach based on the individual's anatomy.
3. New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery orthopedic surgeon David Mayman, MD, will present EOS Solution at the meeting. Of the 800 total joint replacement surgeries Dr. Mayman performs per year, he said he uses EOS to plan each procedure.
