A Wisconsin federal judge reduced the award granted to Acantha in its patent suit against DePuy Synthes from $8.2 million to $4.3 million. Read more. 

Orthofix reported net sales increased 3.9 percent in the second quarter, and $500,000 in sales of the M6-C cervical disc since June, with fewer than 24 surgeons trained to use the technology. Read more. The company also named Jon Serbousek CEO of the company, effective Nov. 1.
